TPC Aust. obtains many enquiries per annum in the design and construction of laboratories. TPC Aust. has extensive experience in designing and constructing Chemistry and Physics Laboratories (inc. HPAPI), Stability Control Environments, Microbiological Laboratories (QC2, QC3, PC2, BSL1 to BLS2), Radiopharmacy Hot Cell Laboratories and laboratories to support new markets such as Medicinal Cannabis. TPC are experienced installers of PC3 / BSL3 facilities.
TPCs design team has extensive experience in many fields of Pharmaceutical and Life science manufacturing environments and the design of areas such as laboratories are critical in supporting operations and on-going products release to the market. TPC’s philosophy is to work with our clients to assist in asking the right questions on workflows and equipment selection to allow for the laboratory to meet the regulatory and organisational demands now and into the future.
TPC has contacts with many consultants and suppliers and are able easily reach out to them to assist in providing the most optimised and current best practice innovations within our laboratory designs. TPC utilise practical knowledge from our staff working in these environments and knowledge of lean principals and other modern laboratory technology to optimise the overall laboratory layout and workflows to meet our clients requirements.
TPC staff have over 20 years’ experience working in the pharmaceutical industry and can assist in the requirements to meet TGA (TGO), US Pharmacopeia (USP), British Pharmacopeia (BP) and ICH requirements. This is part of our service to all of our clients.
The increase in regulatory compliance and data integrity requirements in both manufacturing and laboratory environments, TPC staff are able to assist in the selection of Laboratory Information Management (LIMS) systems, Laboratory Execution Systems (LES) and (near) paperless operating environment (Industry 4.0) solutions. TPC can advise on technologies and instrumentation within the market to suit the laboratories purpose where a more modern approach is requested.
We routinely participate in risk assessments and safety designs for laboratories and include the outcomes into our design along with ensuring that the Australian Standards for laboratories are included in the design.
Cleanability and future proofing the laboratory to allow services to be added in the future to a GLP standard. TPC can coordinate the Air Conditioning, electrical, medical gas, laboratory water (Type I and II) for the facility. TPC has extensive knowledge in Dangerous Goods Handling (AS 1940) requirements and can factor these into the design.
